Inner Journey to Sacred India
Step into a journey that goes beyond sightseeing—into stillness, awareness, and inner balance. In Rishikesh, set on the sacred banks of the Ganges and known as the Yoga Capital of the World, begin each day with authentic yoga that harmonizes body and breath, followed by meditation to quiet the mind. Experience Yoga Nidra, a deeply restorative practice of conscious relaxation that renews you from within. Rishikesh, besides being a yoga entity, is also the spiritual gateway to the revered pilgrimage, adding a deeper sacred significance to your stay.
As you continue to Varanasi, also graced by the holy Ganges and regarded as one of the world’s oldest living cities, immerse yourself in an atmosphere of timeless devotion and spiritual energy. Here, every moment—from sunrise rituals to evening prayers—becomes a meditation in itself.
This is not just a journey—it is a rare opportunity to reconnect, realign, and experience India’s spiritual soul in its purest form.
Meal Plan : Most of the days it will be breakfast and dinners at the hotel and lunches at the local restaurants. On few days we can leave the group to have quick bites or lunches on their own, specially during days of flights.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Met upon arrival in Delhi at IGI Delhi international airport, clear immigration & customs and transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Delhi-Full day tour/Optional Agra visit
Full day tour of Old and New Delhi/ Optional; tour of same day Agra.
Morning after breakfast proceed for a full day tour. Morning explore “Old Delhi” with its narrow dirt roads, its myriad people and inexpensive and colorful bazaars that keep alive the traditional workmanship for which Delhi has always been famous. The first stop is at the Raj Ghat (the cremation ground of Mahatma Gandhi). Driving past the Red Fort (we will visit the more elaborate Red Fort in Agra) we trade our motor vehicles for bicycle rickshaws, which will take us into the heart of Chandini Chowk (the silver square – so named because of the silver merchants). Negotiating alleyways, which seemingly get narrower and narrower we end up at the Jama Masjid, the largest Muslim Mosque in India. Also visit Sis-Ganj Gurudwara, a famous Sikh temple in Chandi Chowk area.
Afternoon, post lunch (on our own), proceed for half day city tour of New Delhi – The capital city of modern India, New Delhi, is a well laid-out main metropolitan area built by the British when they moved their capital here from Calcutta in 1911. It blends internationalism and tradition, with many interesting museums and art galleries here. We will drive past the President’s palace and India Gate in the Lutyens’ Imperial City and Qutub Minar and Humayun’s Tomb that pay homage to the mighty Afghan & Mughal Empires. Overnight at the hotel.

After an early breakfast at hotel, travel by road to Agra. To the lover of art and the traveler seeking the wonders of India, Agra is a sublime destination. Arrive and check into hotel. Afternoon, visit Agra Fort, constructed by Akbar in 1565. The red sandstone fort was renovated and converted into a palace during Shah Jahan’s time. Later proceed to visit Taj Mahal, the only one of its kind in the world. It is a monumental labor of love from a Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, who commissioned its construction as a mausoleum to his beloved wife, Arjumand Bano Begum, also known as Mumtaz Mahal, died during childbirth, leaving behind an inconsolable husband.
Stop at the Taj Museum (inside Taj Mahal complex) for a close look at the original pieces of drawings of this monument. A look at the drawings reveals the level of accuracy and precision gone into the planning the Taj Mahal. The architect guessed that the construction would be done in 22 years. Drawings of the interiors show the position of the graves in such precision that the foot of the graves faces the viewer from any angle. Many more such breathtaking collections include royal ornaments, wonderful paintings, portraits of Mughal emperors etc. After your soulful visit to Taj Mahal return to Delhi. Meals and overnight at the hotel.
