Maroula Konti was born in Athens, in a beautiful neighborhood of Plaka, at the foot of the Acropolis. She finished the National School of Tourist Guides. For many years she has guided visitors to sites of archeological interest, bringing them closer to the Greek history, culture and modern life.
Maroula speaks English and German, translates books and films, and has written two books for children. She is also a member of a choir and a music band. For the past fifteen years, she has organized folk dance classes and meetings with local folk dance groups for Jim Gold tours.
