One review of last year’s Albanian folk tour from a participant:
I don’t think I ever sent you my feedback about the 2024 Albania / Greece / Macedonia tour with Lee Otterholt. It was wonderful! The region is – as I’m sure you know – stunningly beautiful, and the tour’s balance of towns / historical sights / natural beauty was great. Mili was a delightful tour guide. I believe he was a last minute stand in, so I especially wanted to let you know that I would recommend him very highly for future tours. He was relaxed, while being informative and keeping us on track; he had a great sense of humor, he was able to connect with each of us, and he looked after all our one-off needs. But, of course, what made the tour so wonderful was Lee. He has a real gift for bringing out the best in his tour participants, and showing them how to appreciate and enjoy each other. He is always interesting, he infuses the atmosphere with music and dance joy, we dance everywhere we go, and his close connection with the local dancers – and especially with Genci – led to truly unique experiences. Watching him and Genci work together to choreograph a dance for our group was a real highlight of the tour for me, and extremely educational!
